Hi, I'm Idalea a graphic designer based in Astoria, Queens. I am a native New Yorker but I love traveling to new and exciting places. I have a strong passion for editorial design; both print and digital. I have a knack for paying attention to the finer details in everything I create. 

I graduated from St. John's University, majoring in graphic design in May 2017. After graduation I interned at The Knot magazine and then headed to Equinox where I grew into my role as an experienced Graphic Designer. I am currently the Creative Designer at Chip City. My day to day responsibilities included: being the main Graphic Designer, concepting and executing photoshoots, coming up with all creative content video ideas for social media/advertising, working with our in house construction team on adding printed elements of our brand and graphics to stores and much more!

Though I love print design and creating brand collateral I have learned more than I could have imagined working on digital projects. From emails to social media and all other marketing communications I have enjoyed creating new ways to interact with audiences. Bringing content to life has not only expanded my knowledge of design but opened my mind to new ideas.

The past 2 years I have been able to be my most creative self and push my brainstorming capabilities; which I am forever grateful for.
